What You'll Do:

• Partner with the President to establish operating priorities, performance goals, and strategic business plans.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for multiple teams, departments, or broad manufacturing operations; experience as a General Manager, Plant Manager, Operations Director, or in a comparable senior role preferred.
• Strong understanding of investment casting, precision machining, or other complex manufacturing environments; aerospace and defense experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operating performance, revenue goals, budgets, costs, capacity, and delivery commitments using measurable business data.
• Experience preparing and presenting operational and financial reports to executive leadership.
• Ability to lead and hold managers accountable while delegating day-to-day production execution to the appropriate operational leaders.

This position is responsible to lead and work with all production workers in all departments (wax, shell, burnout, casting, finishing, & shipping) on the 2^nd shift in order to achieve daily/weekly production goals while providing a safe and well disciplined work environment.

What You'll Do:

• Materials requisitioned in coordination with fist shift to ensure smooth production flow (no expedites) in Plexus
• Paperwork completed and job status accurate in Plexus system (absent/tardy, AVO forms
• Employees understand daily production requirements and are capable to complete the work assigned to them (use daily work report)
• Employees achieve production output based on quoted rates
• Improvements in process and methods identified and implements with quality and engineerin
• Rework is accommodated with minimal disruption to production schedul
• Employee reviews (annual and 90-day) are completed on time
• Make sure all departments follow priority generated by Production Contro
• Responsible for security of building during shift.
• First responder in case of accidents or incidents during shift.

• Perform digital X-ray inspections using CR/DR equipment.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the General Laborer Foundry Operations works in the metalworking/finishing and casting departments.

Responsibilities:

• The General Laborer Foundry Operations will be responsible for learning our casting processes and using that understanding to safely operate equipment and propose improvements to help Barron make safety-critical metal components.
• Operate metal finishing machinery including robots, blasters, belt sanders, die grinders, carbide burrs, presses, deburring and straightening machines in compliance with AS9100 Quality Systems and procedures
• Assist in casting department as necessary
• Maintain and clean work area and adhere to all safety precautions
• Inspect metal parts and maintain quality standards
• Operate pneumatic machinery to transfer molds from oven to liquid metal pouring area

Requirements:

• Investment casting experience is preferred but not required.
• We will provide training for motivated people who are eager to learn new things.
• Ability to understand and implement AS9100 quality systems and procedures.
• High School Diploma/GED or demonstrated equivalent experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate with team members

What You'll Do

•   Lead the build-out and launch of the initial precision machining cell, including equipment selection, installation, setup, and commissioning.
•         Own the machining process from end to end, including drawing review, CNC programming, setup, tooling, and hands-on machining.
•         Develop and implement standardized workflows, processes, and best practices to support safe, efficient, and repeatable production.
•         Bring the initial machining cell fully operational and capable of producing quality parts to specification within the first 90 days.
•         Build, mentor, and lead a growing team of machinists and an Applications Specialist as machining capacity expands.
•         Ensure all machining operations meet quality and compliance requirements, including ITAR, ISO9001, and AS9100 standards.
•         Partner closely with company leadership on machining strategy, equipment investments, and future capacity planning while maintaining clear ownership and accountability for machining operations.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• 10+ years of experience in precision CNC machining.
• Extensive hands-on experience across CNC programming, applications, machine setup, and machining operations.
• Proven experience working with high-precision machining processes and tight-tolerance components.
• Experience with Doosan and Makino CNC equipment preferred.
• Prior leadership experience overseeing a CNC machining team, department, or operation.
• Demonstrated ownership mentality with the ability to build a machining capability from the ground up and take accountability for results.
• Comfortable providing leadership and operational support across two facilities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on manufacturing environment while also developing processes, people, and capabilities.

What You'll Do: 

Responsible for developing, programming, and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs for the dimensional inspection of production castings, wax patterns, machined parts and assemblies. Interprets engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements to develop inspection methods and generate accurate dimensional reports. Works with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve dimensional issues, support new job launches, and improve inspection processes.

• Develop, modify, and maintain CMM programs using PC-DMIS to inspect parts in accordance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Analyze dimensional inspection results and work with Engineering and Manufacturing to investigate out-of-tolerance conditions and identify potential process improvements.
• Assist with first article documentation, deviations, waivers, and other customer-required submissions.
• Maintain inspection programs, measurement routines, and related documentation to ensure consistency and traceability.
• Support calibration requirements and proper use of measuring equipment.
• Perform dock audits, floor inspections, and other dimensional verification activities as required.
• Follow applicable AS9100 requirements, quality system procedures, and departmental work instructions.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, including AVOs, CARs, ECRs, brainstorming sessions, training, and continuing education.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• At least two years of CMM programming and operation experience required.
• Experience with PC-DMIS CMM programming software required.
• Experience with PolyWorks or Geomagic Control X measurement software preferred.
• Experience using FARO arms, KEYENCE 3D scanners, or similar portable measurement equipment preferred.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, CAD models, and dimensional inspection methods.
• Strong knowledge of geometry and trigonometry as applied to dimensional measurement.
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to interpret dimensional data, identify measurement discrepancies, and assist with root cause investigations.
• Aerospace manufacturing or experience working within AS9100 or similar quality management systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing personnel.
• Ability to use computers and standard Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
